Plateau de Beille

Fifteen point eight kilometres at 7.9% from Les Cabannes to the cross-country ski station at 1,780 m, with the steepest kilometres in the first half and a road that never really eases until the plateau itself. A summit finish only. The Tour has finished here seven times since 1998, and the winner has gone on to win the race more often than not.
