From Sospel the Turini climbs 24.6 km at 5.2% to 1,607 m through the forest of the Maritime Alps, on a road better known for the Monte Carlo Rally. The gradient is even and the hairpins stack in long sequences. The Tour de France has crossed it five times, most recently in 2024.
