Rue de la Redoute climbs 1.6 km at 9.4% out of Remouchamps, with a kilometre in the middle above 13% and the crowd painted onto the road. It was the decisive climb of Liège-Bastogne-Liège for a generation and is still the one the race is measured by, though the finale has moved on to the Roche-aux-Faucons.
