The other way up to the Alpe d'Huez: 12.3 km at 7.5% from Le Freney-d'Oisans to 1,999 m, on a narrow, rough road with a steep final section, and then a descent into the resort from above. The Tour de France used it in 2013 to make the Alpe a double ascent, and again in 2026.
