Vuelta a España, stage 13
5 September 2025
Raced by the pros 10 times.
The hardest climb in Spanish racing: 12.5 km at 9.8%, with the last 6 km averaging over 13% and the Cueña les Cabres ramp at 23.5%. The first half is ordinary Asturian mountain road; then the gradient turns vertical and stays there, on tarmac laid for the Vuelta a España in 1999. Riders have needed smaller gears for it than for anything else in the calendar.
