Passo del Mortirolo

The north-east side from Monno, 12.6 km at 7.6%, is the way the Giro d'Italia usually arrives when it comes from the Val Camonica: steadier than the notorious Mazzo side, through forest most of the way, with the gradient in the 8 to 10% range for long stretches. The pass itself is a clearing at 1,854 m. The Mazzo di Valtellina side, 12.4 km at over 10%, is a different climb and a different day.
